Antonella Cavalleri

Antonella Cavalleri

As a lecturer at the School of Design in St. Gallen, she taught preparatory courses for young people and adults for secondary schools of design for many years - preparatory course HF, preliminary course, various art studies, etc.

Freelance artist with her own studio. Antonella Cavalleri loves, lives and works in St. Gallen. Although St. Gallen is her home, her Italian roots are palpable.
If one were to try to sum up Antonella Cavalleri's diverse and comprehensive work in a single denominator, the only answer would be passion.
Passion is probably what gives her works their expressive effect, whether sketches, oil paintings, photography, art in architecture or sculpture. An effect that also reveals the desire for artistic exploration. The demand for a technically successful work and the serious search for a form appropriate to the respective theme is always noticeable. The artist has a broad repertoire of techniques at her disposal, from virtuoso quick sketches and confident strokes with pencil or brush to the subtle treatment of color surfaces with carefully selected structures and textures.
She is also happy to pass on this knowledge to her course participants.
