Zora Jankovic

Zora Jankovic

was born in 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin, where she received her Master’s degree in 2016. Previously, she studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and the European Institute of Design in Rome. In addition to her artistic work, she has been teaching at various educational institutions for several years.
From 2025, she will also teach at the Scuola di Scultura.

Zora Jankovic has received numerous awards and scholarships, including an Artist-in-Residence grant from the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf (2024) and a work grant from the Stiftung Kunstfonds (2021). Her works have been shown in numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad, including "ALL OVER" in Turin (2023) and "KONKRET" at the Galerie Bernau (2018). She is one of the first four artists-in-residence at the Centro Internazionale di Scultura in Peccia (2021). Zora Jankovic’s artistic practice includes the development of complex sculptures as well as participation in international symposiums, where she continues to pursue her innovative approaches to sculpture.
