Concrete is characterized by its strength, durability, and versatility. Thanks to its plastic properties, it allows for the creation of complex shapes and spatial structures.
Participants will receive individual support and assistance in the independent development of their works. In the first step, sketches and models will be created. Then, a casting negative mold, serving as a hollow form, will be built from materials such as wood, plastic sheets (Kapa and Styrofoam) to subsequently cast the positive, which is the actual artwork, in concrete. This working method is a fundamental concept in sculpture known as the negative-positive principle.
